Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Welcome to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church!

It is with deep gratitude and great joy that I welcome you to our parish family. Whether you are a longtime parishioner, new to our community, or simply visiting, know that you are always welcome here. Our Lady of Grace is a place where faith is strengthened, hearts are renewed, and everyone is invited to encounter the love of Jesus Christ.

My name is Reverend Fernando Luis Gálvez, and I am honored to serve as the Parish Administrator of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Fairview, New Jersey.

Originally from Cuba, I have dedicated my priestly life to proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and walking with God's people in faith. This month, I give thanks to God as I celebrate the 10th anniversary of my ordination to the priesthood, a milestone that reminds me of the countless blessings and graces He has bestowed upon my ministry. Before coming to Our Lady of Grace, I served as Parochial Vicar at Holy Trinity Parish in Hackensack.

As I begin this new chapter with you, my vision is to build a parish where every person feels welcomed, heard, and loved. Together, let us become a community deeply rooted in the Eucharist, faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church, committed to ongoing evangelization, and united in charity, reconciliation, and service.

I believe that a parish flourishes when its people pray together, worship together, and support one another as one family in Christ. My hope is that every individual and every family who enters our doors will discover a true spiritual home where they can deepen their relationship with Jesus and joyfully live the Catholic faith.

I warmly invite you to join us in the celebration of the Holy Mass, the sacraments, our faith formation programs, and the many ministries that make our parish a vibrant community. There is a place for everyone, and together we can continue the mission that Christ has entrusted to His Church.

About Rev. Peter Sticco

 Rev. Peter Sticco served as the beloved borough chaplain of Fairview, New Jersey, and a cherished member of the Academy of Our Lady of Grace community. His dedication, warmth, and tireless service left a lasting impression on the lives of countless residents.

In his honor, the Borough of Fairview is renaming Kamena Street — between Anderson Avenue and Seventh Street — to Rev. Peter Sticco Way. The ceremony is a tribute to his legacy and the enduring impact he had on this community.
